Pavilion entries must be tabled by 10am sharp, Friday 18th March, 2011.

Judging will commence at 10.30am.  Exhibits must be collected between 2.30pm and 3.00pm Saturday.

Section P (Junior Art):–

School entries: Tuesday 15th March

Individual entries: Tuesday 15th March.

(Judging takes place Wednesday and Thursday.)

- All other sections:-

Thursday 17th March at 12.00pm at Show Office.

- Late entries:-

Friday 18th March 9.00am at Pavilion.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL PAVILION EXHIBITORS

The Show Office will be located at 3 King George St Cohuna, 9–5pm from 11th March, 2011, and then at the Show Grounds from 1pm on Thursday 17th March, 2011.  Entries for Junior Art (Section P) will be judged on Wednesday and Thursday before the Show. Late entries for that section will not be judged but will still be displayed (see closing dates above).  All other sections – no late entries will be accepted after 9am on Friday. All exhibits must be delivered to the pavilion on Friday – items cannot be left at the show office when paying for entries. The pavilion will close at 2.00pm on Saturday and exhibits must be picked up between 2.30pm and 3.00pm. The Judges’ decision will be final at all times; no discussion will be entered into.  Exhibitors enter at their own risk.  All exhibitors must keep their entry form and present this to the Stewards when they collect their exhibits after 2.30pm Saturday.  Pavilion prize money may be collected from the Pavilion from 6.00pm on Friday and from 10.00am Saturday. Any money not collected by Saturday 26th March, 2011 will revert to the Society. An attendant is on duty in the pavilion at all times, including all night.

R.C. GOULDING MEMORIAL TROPHY

Donated by Mrs. Jessie Goulding

For the most outstanding senior competitive exhibit in the pavilion from sections K,O,P,R. Classes Decorated Cake, Needlework, Patchwork, Crochet, Knitting, Handcraft, Painting, Spinning & Weaving, including VAS Ltd competitions and Special Classes.  Open to Cohuna & district residents only.

W.P. FEHRING TROPHY

For Most Successful Junior Exhibitor in the pavilion.

MERLYN NAYLOR AWARD

This award is to commemorate the work of Merlyn Naylor.  It is a cash award of $200 donated by her family for an article that shows excellence in creativity, design and execution of skills and with an exceptional finish; to be chosen by two judges, independent of the judging panel on the day of exhibition, and from all classes of Section O and Section R.

The prize will be withheld if in the judges’ opinion, there is not sufficient merit for its award.
